The original concept was Napoleon’s dream of the conquest of Russia. Napoleon’s conquest route would be behind him and his retreat before him. However, I could not find a good Russia map, and therefore used an Egypt map. As a result, what was originally intended to be just one sculpture, evolved into three. |
